A profound love came into being
Early 2021, my long blonde hair gave way to bald patches, my cheerful laughter to deep sorrow, and my peaceful dreams to disturbing nightmares. An excruciating headache and a compulsive need to be alone made me start shutting down my life, my body, and my heart.
The worse I felt, the clearer my nightmares became. Suddenly, I realized I was reliving a traumatic event from my grandmother’s life. Something that — after my down-to-earth upbringing, MSc in Strategic Management, and corporate career — hit me quite hard.
I learned that, more than 75 years ago, my grandmother had been confined to a psychiatric institution. The shock treatments administered to her head left her fearful and deeply distressed. Suddenly, the symptoms that had remained unexplained for so long began to make sense, and it felt as though I could finally breathe again. At least, for a while...
Over the five years that followed, I began to recall one family trauma after another. In images, thoughts, emotions, and — most of all — physical pains. These symptoms not only forced me into a deep exploration of my family history, but also into a desperate search for a way to ease the pain.

After quite a few detours and disappointments, I came across regression therapy — and that immediately felt different. Not only did I begin to make significant strides in both my emotional world and physical health, but for the first time in years, it felt as though a spark had been reignited within me. A spark that made one thing abundantly clear: this is what I want to do
Exhausted, bald, broke, and incredibly curious, I enrolled in my first hypnose training, quickly followed by a training in regression therapy at the Regression Academy in Somerset. As part of the program, I was required to practise with volunteer clients. The results of these sessions were mind-blowing. Before long, those same clients began referring their housemates, friends, and family members. At a surprisingly rapid pace, requests started coming in one after another. And so, what emerged was not only a new business, but — above all — a profound new love.
As the cherry on top, early 2025, I received the news that I had been accepted into the year-long training program of Maarten Oversier — old hand and great inspiration in this field. Meanwhile, my tiny fourth-floor apartment in Amsterdam was slowly but surely filling up with regression sessions. And so, it was time for something new. A new place, a new city... and a new business.
So here she is: EJAMA.
